Decorette Kids Interiors is an interior design studio specializing in children’s spaces and family homes. Life with kids is beautiful, chaotic, messy and magical, and we believe that your home should be able to handle it all with grace. Our calm, comfortable and inviting spaces serve as the perfect backdrop for making memories and letting little imaginations run free. We favour timeless, enduring design that will grow with you and your children. We believe that the heart of your home is your family.
Our goal is to eliminate the stress and put the fun back in decorating, so you can focus on raising those littles—in a beautiful space to boot!
Design Philosophy
Hi! I’m Adena, and I’m on a mission to help families love their homes. As an interior decorator who is also a mom of two beautiful girls, I design spaces that are built to withstand the realities of living with littles – without compromising on style.
I started my career blogging for HGTV, which led to a job as the digital editor at Canada’s premier shelter publication, House & Home magazine. Inspired to fulfill my childhood dream of becoming an interior designer, I attended George Brown College for Interior Decorating, and launched Decorette Kids’ Interiors after my first daughter was born. Since then, I have designed dozens of spaces, including renovating our own white-brick family home in midtown Toronto.
I love getting to know each of my clients, how they live, what they love, and designing spaces around their unique, individual interests and lifestyle. I look forward to getting to know you and your family!

It’s the little things! Our Mini Makeover is best for those who already have their big-ticket items (think: furniture, lighting, rugs, and window treatments) but need help finding those finishing touches to complete the room. We will create a design board with unique décor and accessories, as well as a clickable shopping list to bring a cohesive and styled look to your space.
